So much has changed in the last 5 years it blows my mind.

"WWE's development fed is being headlined by world renowned superstars Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Hideo Itami"

Well yeah, NXT has fantastic roster. But they ain't developmental anymore. Billie Kay and No Way Jose (excluding Bayley as she's moving up) were the only two competitors on the card that are considered developmental projects and will be here for a while. Ember Moon can be another, but with her skill set, she could easily go to the main roster and be a top in ring talent.

Now don't get me wrong, there's a lot to develop for those coming from outside the states. Itami, Asuka, Almas etc. need to get accustomed to cameras, promos, WWE style. I just miss the magic of Tyler Breeze, Adrian Neville, Ascension, Zayn, Bayley, Sasha and Charlotte come in and grow before us. Now it's like... everyone's character is "biggest free agent".

Though I do like them giving Roode a pretty decent character (classic holier than thou, rich scum bag)
