Murder charge filed after nurses seen on camera laughing as veteran gasps for breath

Yeah nursing homes are usually bad places. I'll preface by saying that I think there is a likely possibility that lack of adequate care resulted in the death of this person.

However:

Confused older people constantly put on their call lights and then you go in the room and they have either no idea why they did it or are unaware they did. They also will scream for help because they are frightened/ forgot where they were/ are confused by their surroundings.

Simply looking at those clips doesn't provide us with the whole story. We don't know why he was calling for help, was he able to tell the nurses why he was? It can be difficult to tell the difference between a delirious person with tachypnea from fear/pain versus somebody in real respiratory distress, especially with poorly experience staff in non acute care like those in nursing homes.
