What credit?

The entire point of my comment was that I didn't have the courage to be open and embrace the things I enjoyed doing at home (DND, video games, writing and reading fantasy and sci fi) in public (where I was an athlete, or in shorthand, related to the background that Travis had of feeling pressured to be one thing when my interests were something different).

I wasn't giving myself credit, I was using a relatable and well known story in the community to express my shortcomings and failures when I was in high school and suggesting that the subject of this post is better than I was. I was being self deprecating.

But go on, man, bet it makes you feel ten feet tall and bulletproof to shit on strangers on the internet. Get it out of your system, obviously you need the catharsis.
