The problem with Jason Takes Manhattan is that he's barely in Manhattan. It's already near the end of the movie, but it is pretty fun when he gets there. I think that's the main criticism for the movie but if you look at is a Friday The 13th movie and ignore the disappointment the title led people to, it's still as fun as the others.

Jason Goes To Hell is my least favorite and only Friday movie I don't like. It took such a drastic change and felt wrong. It's like, you go to see a Slasher movie but get Exorcism 2 instead. JGTH is not terrible and it's fun on it's own, but it's such a departure that it immediately turned people away. If it was titled something else, it might have been better received
