I just want to say you’re a great mom and totally validated to be concerned. I know your nanny probably was doing what she felt to be the right thing, but as a mom (NM), I know how hard it is to blindly trust someone you hardly know with your babe. Talk to her tomorrow and don’t think twice about overreacting. Our babes are an extension of our heart. You’re doing great mama. And also keep in mind, this nanny may also be doing a wonderful job with your babe. Definitely cross check and make sure it’s a good fit but from my experience, often times a nanny will handle our babes differently than we would. For good or for bad. It’s good for the baby to have different connections and coping mechanisms. Sending love to you!
