Nation Shocked, Horrified As Christians Hold Christian Position [Satire]

Not really. The secular world sees Christianity as an arrogant grouping of individuals who are overzealous in telling others who don't believe in Christianity that they are "wrong", "going to Hell", "Scandalous", etc. Add to that the fact that for some Christian denominations, their beliefs are really quite backwards (example: creationism), and it isn't hard to understand why non-religious people find Christianity to be distasteful. Everybody thinks they are right. Secularists, Catholics, and any other religion. They all believe their way is the only right way. They are entitled to think that. It is natural to believe your "team" is the best. However, holding those beliefs and trying to force them on others, or shame others by telling them they are wrong is what is so distasteful to the "secular world". People who don't believe in Christianity have to work many times harder than those who do in living a moral life. They don't have an organization to back them up. They don't have a bible to give them directions. Instead, they have to look for God in all of the other places He exists and then establish a relationship, using the tools God gave them such as their conscience and their intuition. A little respect for that is in order.
