Oh you're down voting me for stating a fact that two professionals told me to go to a friend's house and ring OT and tell them I was abandoning my child but that's what happened when I asked for help because I'm 5'1 widow being beaten by a 5'7" autistic teen who has all his male muscles. They told me if I wanted help from OT I had to do that because there was no other way to access help. It's like the OP said the system is broken and police won't help. They won't arrest a teen who is bigger and taller and stronger than you who is beating you and smashing holes in the walls and doors. They won't give you any safety if the person assaulting you is a minor and you are an adult.
