Need help with visualisation

I kinda disagree with you. Visualization does not create resistance......I'm not sure where you get that.....

Reality is a mirror of our consciousness/state of being. So yes, choosing to feel good all of the time will result in reality reflecting that back to us. But let's be real here. This guy wants money or a new car or something like that. And yes you can say "Oh but you need to realize that he wants to feel that GOOD feeling he has when he has his new car! So he needs to focus on feeling good!"

But that's not exactly correct. At least in my experience.

I visualize stuff all the time and I end up receiving it. I do it when I'm not "feeling good" too and it works too.

I visualize, and FEEL what my visualization looks like. I don't set my visualization in the pretend future. I see myself having it now, like every LOA thing I've ever read has said to do, and then I feel what that feels like. The other day I did it with coffee. I ran out of coffee at my house and decided I wanted a nice cup of coffee....for free. So I visualized myself in my mind's eye as already having and drinking the cup of coffee.

Later I walked to the store and wouldn't you know it? They were giving away free any size cups of coffee that day. I got this great feeling when I saw this too, like I knew it was reality just responding to me.

Saying "Focus on feeling good" is good advice, and it sounds good, and it will work on a broader scope, I think, but will it really get this dude his new car? Maybe. Maybe not.

We all perceive things differently due to our lifetime of experiences. So maybe this guy sees getting a new car as this crazy impossible thing to ever happen to him, and deep down he doesn't actually believe he will get it.

Now telling him to just focus on feeling good isn't going to get him the car. He needs to take a minute, visualize himself with the car, and feel what it feels like. If it doesn't feel possible, or like it's going to or could happen, it's not the act of visualization that is keeping him from getting that car, or "creating resistance". It's him. That resistance is already inside of him. He needs to identify these "limiting beliefs" and realize that truly anything is possible, including getting that car.

This is why people say LOA requires some "Self Work"...because it does. Saying "Just ignore the car and feel happy" will probably create a happy reality for this guy, but it won't create the car, because believe it or not those resisting thought patterns and beliefs towards that car are already inside of this dude. It's not the visualization that brings it out of him. It's already there.

I've tried visualization for things I readily except will manifest, and things that I do not really think will manifest. The ones I believe in work. They come with this good feeling attached like I know, somehow, they are going to manifest in the world. The ones that I don't believe will actually manifest feel heavy, and tense, and dark, like I'm walking up hill with cement shoes on. These are the ones where you have to look inside of yourself and figure out how you actually perceive this thing you want to be, and change said perceptions. You can change perceptions. You can change beliefs. And you can manifest anything you want.

Feelings are definitely what we use to manifest, so I understand why a lot of people say "Just feel happy now". It's good, generic advice. But also, everything has it's own feeling. When I visualized already having that coffee in my hand it created a feeling, a unique feeling. That's how this works. You visualize yourself as already having whatever it is you want and you FEEL the feeling that comes along with said visualization.

And that's it. if it feels good and easy and possible then you're fine. If it feels like it's impossible or like you're struggling to visualize or feel what it would be like to have that whatever it is now, then it means you already have resistance towards having whatever it is, inside of you. But that's okay because now you can work on adjusting your beliefs/perceptions/whatever.

There is no difference between a thought, a feeling, a bird, a tree, a new car, or a happy life. All of these things are made of the same thing.
