I need some life advice

For me the clarity of giving up weed has afforded me the ability to learn better and easier, and that has led to more motivation. I'm also more active and motivated to work out and get some physical gains each week. When I smoked a lot, not being able to do those things were my frustrations along with an inability to be social. The reasons I took up smoking weed two decades ago were different - they were related to depression and anxiety - and I did have the motivation to address them while stoned. Back then (while stoned) I was motivated to learn about relaxation, eating right and sleeping right. All the changing I did was hard work, I needed to look at myself and see the things that weren't working for me and change them, and I while I wasted a lot of time stoned, I did manage to do some meaningful things. The 'transformation' is probably better termed 'work' and it comes from looking at whats was going on before the weed smoking, and looking at how much of that is still there after giving up, as well as addressing any new issues caused by smoking pot. Otherwise - fight for a life that is healthy and full of variety. Plan exciting activities to look forward too. Make sure that diet and exercise is healthy and in balance. Smoking weed is as much a lifestyle as it is a drug, and finding replacements for the aspects of that lifestyle that had to change when you quit is also really important in creating a meaningful, valued existence for yourself.
