CIP - Cannabis-Induced Psychosis - happened to my brother and another family member

yup. happened to me a year ago. hospitalized for 3 weeks total. was manic while chain smoking joints for years without realizing it. ran out of weed and couldn't cop more and then went into full blown psychosis. insane stuff, delusional beyond your wildest imagination i guarantee you, lasted for probably a month at least until i threw a tv out my window and threatened my neighbors and the police beat my door down at gunpoint and hauled me off in an ambulance lmao.

a year later and im doing fine. no more weed, no schizophrenia thank god, full recovery and im in law school now. i tried smoking a little bit a couple months ago but i sensed the paranoia returning so i threw vape away and my brain is healthy again.

fuck weed lol. i love smelling it bc nostalgia but i won't touch that shit ever again. i enjoy the feeling of mental clarity and organized thoughts, and i like having a good memory again. plus I'm way more comfortable in public now and am confident when meeting ppl. weed just kept me trapped as a delusional introvert lol

but yes, TL;DR cannabis induced psychosis is very very real, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know wtf they're talking about. there's a ton of literature on this stuff. even baudelaire in the 19th century warned about the long-term consequences of smoking hash
