I think a network stole my show (script)...what can i do?

This is a very arrogant statement while having 0 facts to base it on. A lot of industry saw my pilot. A lot. This include huge agencies, several of the biggest management companies who also produce came to see this film. I also sent email pitches... to several studios. To say that it definitely didn't influence this other work is childish at best.

Are you being serious right now? Networks and studios don't steal scripts? Writers don't steal scripts? You're out of your fucking mind? Now whether they are held accountable for it is another story. They have much larger law firms supporting them and the burden of proof lies on the plaintiff. Proving someone stole it is difficult...because you can use the likemind argument and just say that they are similar ideas is all...As someone who's spent years doing comedy...I SEE JOKES STOLEN ALL OF THE TIME. Don't tell me it doesn't happen. I see jokes that comedians around town are doing end up in movies...hell..you see standups steal fromother standups....sometimes it's on purpose..and sometimes...its completely on accident. That's why as a standup....if i'm coming up with a premise...and it just feels familiar...i drop it...unless I can find something else funny about that premise to focus on...something that doesn't seem familiar.

Networks...and studios steal shit all the time. Writer's steal shit all the time. While I was ignorant to think that it wouldn't happen to me...the nature of my work...and their work is so specific...its hard to believe any other...I've worked my ass off in this industry and I've had quite a bit of success...

In regards to my pilot that according to you...wasn't stolen. I didn't seek this out. Several industry folk...came to me and told me about this trailer...and that its the exact same thing i did....several years ago. I went in optimistic that it was minds thinking similarly and that it couldn't have been stolen...but after seeing it...I can't remain happy for this other project at its seems to have listed my entire premise...direct lines...and specific shots...and this is just the trailer.
