Neurodevelopmental outcomes at one year in offspring of mothers who test positive for SARS-CoV-2 during pregnancy

That would be a no-brainer but there's a much, much harder question here - risk vs risk.
My wife is in her first trimester and her second shot was almost 6 months ago. Her gynecologist advises against the booster until 2nd trimester because let's face it: That used to be the dogma for ages and many doctors will stick to it. Especially here in Germany, where the official guidelines are very conservative.
I'm a healthcare worker myself and my feeling is that the booster is absolutely worth the risk.

Neglecting the booster means facing very likely infection with zero antibodies (but memory cells at least) as an immunocompromised person.

But if we choose the shot (which, judging from data so far seems to be a very low risk) and anything goes wrong we'll never be able to forgive ourselves.

I hate to have to decide that.
