If you’re getting this message, it’s because you expressed some interest in my guild after reading about our SUPER HOLY SHIT RAD first time raiding (https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/54f5gx/never_miss_the_first_guild_raid_night_of_the/). My apologies for the impersonal form letter- but I’ve been inundated with messages and want to get to everyone.
So, some things about us. We’re <REMEDIUM> a social guild on Wyrmrest Accord server, Horde side. We’ve been active for about two years, but for the first year things were fairly quiet. I took over the guild last winter with a plan to grow the guild, get us ready to raid, and to build a positive, entertaining community.
We are NOT a raiding guild, but we do have a small raid team that we are looking to expand. If you are looking for a guild primarily for raiding, this is probably not your cup of tea. We are most definitely a social guild. We are willing to give everyone a trial, but we also recognize that all personalities don’t necessarily mesh well. What we want are people who are going to be VERY active in guild chat and on Discord, people who will try to get a feel for the social rhythm, and are generally self-aware, relaxed people for whom friendship is more important than iLVL. No wallflowers. People who don’t chat in /g or who only chat when something is interesting to them personally don’t last long.
We’re pretty inappropriate. We had one guildie gquit because we “talk about balls and butts too much.” I think this is entirely unfair. We also talk about Mexican food and booze. Homophobia and racism are the only big no-nos. I really love my crew. We’re not a big group (about 25-30 regularly active players, mostly late nights). We are on a first name basis. We do guild business via our Facebook group. We are a funny bunch of motherfuckers, and we have been told that we are, on average, “unreasonably attractive for a WoW guild.”
