NFL cheerleaders sueing league

This is such a weird subject. Some of these women, many I am sure, REALLY want to be say a Cowboys cheerleader. The problem I have is, they KNOW THIS IS A GIG, not a job, from the get go. Watch the show with those girls trying to be cowboyus cheerleaders, they don't care, they just want to be a cheerleader for the cowboys. No one is talking about it being their income etc. I have a very big problem with agreeing to something, knowing what you are getting into and then bitching about it later.

On the other hand, they do put in a lot of work. But I will always default back to: you're an adult, you know what you are getting into and you are making a decision. Deal with it like every one else. You don't accept a job for say 60K a year as a say web designer and then bitch 6 months later saying you should make 250K. You quit and find another job, or you ask for a raise and get it or not. It's not like these cheerleaders are told they will make a living wage and then are not getting paid it, they know they aren't making shit but yet they still try and want to be a cheerleader.

Just my opinion, but if you know what you are getting into and you willingly accept it, you don't get extra rights just because you want more or don't like what YOU signed up for. Again, I think it would be VERY different if they were lied to etc, but that isn't the case, they are suing over a gig, not a job, and suing over what they knew before hand. I find that silly and personally put that in the cry baby category. For the record I do think they should get paid more in general, but if you agree to XYZ terms, I'm sorry, you freaking agreed.
