NFL Week 2 Predictions Thread (2015 Season)

I went 10-6 last week, not bad, kinda sore that I botched both Monday Night Games.

So, anyway, this week.

Kansas City over Denver-Okay, so I was wrong about the Broncos last week but I really do think the Chiefs have the edge this time out, Peyton didn't look particularly impressive last week and the Chiefs were surprisingly good on offense against a very good Houston defense. Also, I have to admit, it's bizarre to think of a game featuring PFM as a potential defensive duel, but that's where we are.

New England over Buffalo-Buffalo looked damn good last week but it's going to take a while for them to convince me they can beat Brady. Still, they're at home, so who knows.

Arizona over Chicago-I was wrong about Arizona last week too. This defense should have no problems befuddling the Bears.

Cincinnati over San Diego-The latest "curse" game, San Diego was the curse's beneficiary last week so naturally they'll win this week.

Incidentally, if you don't know what I'm talking about go back and read last week's writeup, it's part of why I linked it. the tl;dr is that dating back to the playoffs last year there has been a string of winners one week turning into losers the next that has carried on all through this year's preseason and into week 1.

Tennessee over Cleveland-The Mariota hype is real.

Detroit over Minnesota-For all the hype the Vikings didn't look good at all on Monday night, while the Lions looked good in a loss. Advantage Detroit.

New Orleans over Tampa Bay-One day I'll learn my lesson and stop picking the Saints. Today is not that day.

Atlanta over New York Giants-Eli doesn't like winning, apparently.

Pittsburgh over San Francisco

St.Louis over Washington-St.Louis' front seven is going to make Kirk Cousins regret taking over for RG3.

Houston over Carolina

Baltimore over Oakland

Miami over Jacksonville

Philadelphia over Dallas

Green Bay over Seattle-I don't like that we're the trendy upset pick this week, because this game scares the hell out of me. Honestly I feel like Marshawn Lynch is going to eat our defense alive, but hopefully that will be offset by the Packers offense being highly motivated and the home crowd getting into Wilson and co's heads. Another startlingly good performance from the Packers secondary would be nice as well, for whatever reason they seem to give Russell trouble. Just barely feeling the Pack in this one but I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Indianapolis over New York Jets-Hey, Pagano, you know you can run the ball, right?
