(Nitro pretty much 100% gone)

There's a difference between knowing what is happening versus being prepared for anything to happen. 100 Thieves' recent moves took away a key (and now very much needed) option from their toolkit. They pigeonholed themselves with their move from Steel. Organizations shouldn't be in positions where they are shocked by every decision. Truthfully, it really isn't a surprise to see a correction in the player market between CS/VAL given how much conversation there has been about both titles for sometime.

And, I mean, it is their job. They should have a good understanding of what is going on with their team at any given point in time. If you invest in someone to be the leader of your team and they leave prematurely, that's a bad read on your part as an organization.

(Just so that it is clear, I'm not arguing that one decision is right versus wrong, I'm just arguing how 100 Thieves put themselves in a very tough situation with their decision-making)
