No Dumb Question Tuesday - (2018-12-11)

A nonbeliever claims to exhibit spiritual prophecy, being able to read into certain situations or circumstances more than they should be able to know. This is not simply discernment, but also includes details of situations. This is verified by another unbeliever, though for the purposes of this question, we can assume they are trustworthy.

How do you handle this? I didn't think non-believers received spiritual gifts, as they do not possess the Holy Spirit. This is also assuming a continuationist view rather than cessationist. In either case, I would worry they only other explanation is that the extra insightful information is from other, bad spiritual forces. That or it is just look, or an extraordinary ability to read people, though I think that is not the case. Or it is actually all just lies. A curious situation to be introduced to though from my perspective.
