No firings at Rolling Stone over flawed story, 'A Rape on Campus

I'm a bit drunk so take this with a grain of salt.. FUCK THE ROLLING STONE. I myself, like thousands of people in this country are in a fraternity. I want this world to be one of equality but to see how the news targets feats is ridiculous. I myself know few at Virgina but I do go to school I the south so I know how the media has handled the OU and Texas controversies with fraternities, and it is absolute bullshit journalism. In the Texas Fiji incident the writer for the daily Texan went to that so called "border patrol" party looking for a story, let me remind you this party has been hosted by Fiji since the 70s without a problem. The writer of the story was then featured on usa today for her "fantastic journalism" which in my mind is absolute shit. She was looking for a headline and found one just like any buzzfeed article you see on Facebook. Fucking pathetic. I then watched as the media handled the OU case as it took no lives for granted as it has ruined these kids lives. I know what they did and said was completely wrong but I know for a fact one of the kids has had to move houses because of death threats and another is in hiding. Again, I'm not backing up what they said but the media doesn't give a flying shit about what they do to lives as long as they get their clicks, aka their advertisers gain views which is all that matters in modern journalism. It's a sad day when you see Instagram selling for a billion dollars when the New York Times, one of the most popular news outlets, doesn't even equate to nearly that value. Over this times I have learned that the media does not speak the truth, but merely what the people want to hear, aka whetever a title that they will click on. I'm all for rights but I feel as my generation as begun the rebellion stage as that through social media I can make a difference by retweetig this or commenting on this when in real life they have no earthly idea what they are fighting for, but just that they are fighting. Now back to the whole Virgina story. What the rolling stone did was completely wrong. If we have learned anything in the past 20 year it is that you must check your facts. Hell I've heard that since the 3rd fucking grade. Are you kidding me Rollin stone? I hope you get your fucking ass sued. I know you will still continue to be in print but what you did is wrong plain and simple. You willingly bypassed the code of journalism and wrote a very controversial story that changed the campus of Virgina forever only to learn that the story was infact a lie. GO FUCK YOURSELF. Jesus H. Christ on a Popsicle stick. It's Easter and you've got me this riled up. And now you haven't fired a single employee after the fact? Burn in hell. This is dog shit journalism and you know it. So rolling stone I know this doesn't mean much to you, nor will it effect you much but what you did was wrong and the fact that you can't live up to the truth and realized that you fucked up is huge and says a lot about what type of newsouecd you are. Burn in hell, and that's exactly what I'll be doing to any magazine that is ever delivererd to my door.
