Personally I this she looks stunning ! I mean those costumes are some of the best I've ever seen and the hair(which tends to always be difficult) looks amazing and effortless!

With that being said why is it that every time someone is a "non traditional" version of the original character the freaking cosplay police come out in full force. And for the record this girl in my opinion is a spot on Dany . Why does she need to have light skin , everything else is stone cold accurate down to the damn violet eyes.

Cosplay is and can be open to interpretation. I find it extremely disturbing that people seem to have NO PROBLEM when girls make a cosplay much sexier than the original costume (Which for the record I have no problem with sexy Cosplay look up VeraBaby she's the queen of it ) How is it ok to change the original look of your sexing it up but not if your a little chubby or darker skinned then the original character ?

Um no ! Some of the most famous and in my opinion best cosplayers around make the character their own.Some people don't even make an active decision to "make the character different " this isn't a fucking casting call for the role ITS COSTUME PLAY not how much do I look identical to Emilia Clark.

Reason you seem to think people do cosplays 1) For your shitty opinions !
2) To always look exactly like the source material (yes some people cosplay identical but NOT ALWAYS)

Reasons people actually cosplay 1) To celebrate the character
2) To have FUN and put yourself in someone else's shoes for day 3) To be creative and inventive

In summary , this girl looks amazing ! She is Daenerys Stormborn and she will cosplay as she sees fit ! She doesn't need to be whitewashed in order for this to be beautiful and effective .
