I bought these because I drive a lot and I have had a disproportionate number of experiences where I've had to stop and help people on the side of the road, but their magnetic and you could throw them on top of your car and set the pattern to the spinning LED light and people would probably get the idea that there was some sort of emergency or official business.

sure it may not technically be legal but I'm sure you wouldn't get in trouble if it was an actual emergency. They're also just good to have in your car
