The Nominees for the 2022 r/anime Awards!

I feel like there're plenty of people who preferred Mob s2. I think the problem is it was too balanced of a show—did it have the best action? Some episodes, yes, but the rest of the show is tying loose ends so action fans went meh. Did it have the best emotional moments? Honestly, not if you watch more SoL or non-action. So people in the middle were fucking over the moon with s3, but anyone that wasn't a massive fan already likely felt it didn't make the same impact. I love MP and it should have been AOTY nom, but I was surprised to see so many fans proclaiming it an all-time great. I think this season was a love letter to ONE and the fans, and that specialness is worth carrying in of itself, genuinely who cares about what a fraction of the internet says
