I hate how long it takes for anime to get English dubbed!!!

Dubs take time to be made. I find the concept of simuldub surprised when they started happening. You get the original, then you need to translate it for dubbing (stricktier rules than subbing) After that you need to bring a bunch of people (everybody with their own lives ans schedules) to an studio and record they lines and after that you need to remix them to sound ok and add them to the video for streaming.

Since some people are talking about the old times I would let you know that here is Spain it took 4 years to One piece to be dubbed into spanish (and then it got moved too early on the morning and finally dropped it somewhere at the end of alabasta. It took years for a dub to exist again thanks to streaming platforms.
