Not enjoying art anymore?

If you’re still drawing daily maybe it’s a sign to take a short break. I get you mate. Struggled with mental health myself for almost 9 years now and while I always told myself “I draw.” Rather than “I used to draw” there were defiantly periods 6 months+ where not a single line was drawn. However, every time I went back to it after a break it was like falling in love with it all over again. Nothing worse than burnout and depression at the same time. Take time for yourself but keep consuming. Watch visually interesting media, visit art gallery’s, find some chill spot that looks beautiful. You’ll surprise yourself with the creativity you’ll feel when you get back on the horse and may even notice improvement. It won’t cure your mental health but hell it makes it a little less oppressing.
