Not spending anything for 17 days

Oh I can definitely relate with the credit card and having a laid back attitude towards it! I have a card with a $4k limit which I set as such so the debt wouldn’t creep up on me and I wouldn’t be able to pay it off. But now it seems to just be floating at maxed out or close to it - because I would clear each statement as they came in by the due date there is no interest so I am really laid back about it, but then I manage to spend whatever I had paid off and therefore it just stays at this level.

This card though has crept up on me in that I got it as a means to make last minute emergency purchases without having to drain my savings, but also to have my bills and other expenses debit out of which I then pay back straight away as I have budgeted for it, but then I started to use it for everything and then pay the bill at the end of the month, including eating lunch out, getting take out, going out for drinks etc.

Really need to curb this spending and also partake in a no spend fortnight or something similar.
