How will the players who do pay attention not be affected by this?

You can't just stay aligned with any ship, most require you to keep a range and one cloaky ship uncloaked near you, it's little chance you can react fast enough even if you see him, and then there is lag added to it.

With local removal, carrier eatting would be dead, same with Machariel and Rattlesnake.

Those ships are too expensive to just lose because you have no viable counter and not everybody has a capital umbrella .

Removing local would lead to farming done in two ways:

AFK/Botting Rorqual with capital umbrella

AFK/Botting with expendable vexors

I would not consider putting the effort to farm in a ship it takes a month of daily farming to even recover the cost when any spodbrain F1 gang has an easy button to catch and destroy it in a minute.
