NUS conference condemns drag and tells gay men to ‘stop acting like black women’

Well, couple of things to point out. First off, trousers. (Or pants, for you americans.) Second point, here we see an organization actively trying to solidify the line between genders when men try to cross it, claiming it's "Hateful" and "Misogynist" for men to do so. I don't really know what to say. In the context of all their bullshit it makes even less sense than usual. I'm just flabberghasted. The longer you spend talking to these people, the more and more apparent it becomes that they don't actually believe in any of the bollocks they talk about. It's just a convinient excuse and rationalization to grab power for themselves, and to deny men rights and personal expression. Surely we've all heard the feminist talking point that, ahhh, ahh but you see, the reason men can't do things like wear dresses is because of misogyny! Not misandry. Misogyny makes it so we view women as lesser and so men cannot possibly degrade themselves by wearing a dress, and that is how you getting hit in the face with a truncheon is secretly all about me and my problems. Awfully convinient for their narrative no? But then comes along something like this and you realize, well yes, it was awfully convinient, and they never fucking believed it in the first place. I can no longer tell if they are evil, indoctrinated, or just incredibly stupid. I used to give the benefit of the doubt, but I just don't know anymore. It's probably an alliance of the three. Third point, can you say SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS? Well, transwomen had better learning to show them. How do you propose to tell the difference between a transwoman mid transition turning up to a student event, and a male student in drag? This comes neatly into a point i've wanted to highlight for a while, which is that misandry hurts transwomen too. (Mostly because of regulation on males and what is and is not acceptable for them to be doing.)
