I appreciate the irony of calling out call-out culture. I just wish I didn't have to hear it from a man with a 90% casualty rate for drone strikes. From a guy known from being a big talker. From a president who did more to appease Republicans than live up to his campaign promises. From a person whose campaign was born of memetic culture and lives on in memetic culture.

I'm glad he feels comfortable enough to tell people that telling other people how to act is not activism. I'm glad he's at a point in his life where it'd be nice if it felt like everyone just got along all the time, because there aren't problematic trends having a lamp shone on them for the first time.

Good people have flaws. But that doesn't mean the flaws aren't worth pointing out.
