[OC] Barovia can wear down a party in CoS and cause trust issues. My player made a chart to keep up with how everyone feels.

I was so happy with how our group managed that dungeon.
So everyone except my (mostly)Good-aligned Cleric touched at least one sarcophagus, even our (supposedly)Good Paladin. Once we were basically done with the Amber Temple, two players went off with the DM to discuss what they wanted to do while our party rested in an empty room. They came back with beers for everyone, because it was about to get really bad. The paladin was promised vampire powers if he sacrificed one of his friends and then died himself, so the sorcerer/warlock who now had bone wings, was decaying, and was otherwise visibly necromantic, promised he would kill the paladin after the paladin killed me. Our party's ranger who smelled terrible but had truesight hung back to see how it all played out. The paladin got the jump on me, but when combat settled, I killed him (in self defense!) and our party sullenly left the Temple to continue our quest. Once we got back to a town, the Sorcerer/Warlock/Necromancer declared that he needed a week, and wandered off into the woods. My cleric, freshly level 10, was deeply saddened by the dark pacts his friends had taken, and didn't believe that their succumbing to corruption was necessary to defeat Strahd and escape Barovia. So, I opted to seek Divine Intervention, rolling once per day during the week that the other player was working on becoming a Lich. On the sixth day I rolled low enough, and successfully beseeched Bahamut to cleanse my party mates, including our fallen paladin comrade, of the dark corruption eating at their souls. Which pissed off the Necromancer's player at first, but in the end we were all glad that the campaign didn't get completely derailed.
