Official Discussion: The Irishman [SPOILERS]

Those two, Avengers (RDJ briefly), and Blade Runner 2049 - off the top of my head. Blade Runner I forgive (I’m biased though) - it wasn’t an awful scene compared to the others (very dim lighting for one particular scene) and I really loved the rest of the movie. I love Star Wars and the scenes in Rogue One with Peter Cushing felt so jarring that suspension of disbelief was gone for it then to end on Carrie Fisher in a similar fashion. I will say Captain Marvel was better than the Avengers’ scene but still not perfect.

The Irishman attempted a lot of it and I thought it was well done. I never truly felt “out” of the film - I admittedly came close when Frank confronted the store owner due to his movement.
