How long does it normally take to calcaneal bursitis to go away? During a run a week ago I started to feel a pulsating pain just where the achilles tendon inserts with the bone (in the left leg), and since then I didn't go back to running, there's just a very tiny lump in the area and if I poke that exact location it starts to hurt again, and also when I first stand up it'll hurt but after few steps the pain just goes away. The thing is, the pain isn't exactly bad enough to make me go see a doctor right away, I don't have pain when I'm walking or just doing nothing but I haven't tested running again because I don't want to take the chance to aggravate it. In this week the only thing that I did was ice the area and foam roll my calves, which at the first and second days were a lot more sore than normal, but now they're fine.

Should I just take another rest week to see if it goes away then?

Btw, I did some calf raises today and there's no pain at all, but then I sat down and when I got up the pain reoccurred but went away after a few steps anyway... It doesn't even seen like a problem to bring up to a doctor honestly.
