Ok, Reddit, if we all suspended judgment for a sec, what do you want to brag about?

My former boss didn't like my attitude, I didn't like the fact that once she got into a management position, she went on a massive power trip and tried to coerce me into doing shit that could jeopardize my license and qualifications for her convenience.

So her idea was to make an example out of me and not give me work for a week since everybody else was starting to show attitude as well. She wanted me to drive 35 miles to her office to talk in person, I told her that's not gonna happen unless I'm getting paid for the commute, or there's work involved. I'm not driving 70 miles round trip with my own gas for nothing. I told her to email or text me her grievances and/or complaints and I'll consider her requests pending any corrections to her actions as of late. She refused. So I told her that I'm not complying with that request.

After about 3 days she sent me an email talking about how I've been MIA for 3 days, and that if I don't respond by a certain date, she'll take that as my resignation. I immediately responded with my letter of resignation, and was working for my current employer 2 days later.

That event set off an avalanche, because I had been talking about quitting for months, people started to call bullshit. Once I did, 3 drivers quit within a week. After that, another 2 left. Since then, an additional 2 drivers have quit because of her. They're trying to hire more drivers but nobody is staying. We already had a shortage of manpower before I quit, it's getting so bad that they're having to fly in drivers from across the country and pay for room and board, and $200 a day salary if they want to hold onto the account.

The customer they're servicing is now looking to drop the contract and go with another carrier because of too many problems other than manpower. The severe lack of manpower is causing major problems with the client's customers. That means my former boss, and her boss will be either fired or relocated to a different position. She moved all the way across the country for that position.
