Is it okay to be scared of this (the unknown)?

Thank you, and yes, you are speaking my mind right now! It's good to know that I'm acting normal (it may not be a big deal for them... they travel all the time), but, I'm still figuring out adulthood (it's hard lol and see why my folks always told me to not rush to grow up).

But yeah, it's an exciting opportunity to see more of the world and start making friends (because I spend all day at home, thanks to COVID... and only go outside for a run). I don't have many friends (only my buddy at work), so yeah.

And yep, already packing and planning from my end ahead of time, trying to be on top of this so no surprises.

Also, everything else you said there is really helping. Thank you for your post, really helped calm my nerves (well... a few Samuel Adams are calming my nerves... but still thank you) :).
