Paedophile who filmed himself raping a two-year-old girl and shared it online has been jailed for life.

I don't have sympathy for young adults who continue the cycle. I've been molested and abused and I've been put in situations where I could have inflicted the same pain onto others. I'm not a good person or very smart or privileged. I just chose not to do what was done to me. The flashbacks and nightmares do not and did not justify the life I would ruin or the pain I would pass on. Children do not understand that and my heart goes out to them. Young adults however, they know the weight those consequences carry and it's just not a good enough reason for doing bad things once you understand and knowing what it felt like to grow up with those demons... I - and the few people I've met who were in the same boat - would never wish that on another child. Hence why I do not feel sympathy for those who knew very well what they were doing yet still did the same to another. It's a "Takes one to know one" kinda thing I guess.
