Pakistan's Child Maids: (2018) BBC Our World. Tens of thousands of Pakistani children work as domestic servants in the homes of richer families. They cook, clean and are often violently abused, but those responsible are rarely held to account. [00:23:10]

Most people have kids because of society's pressure. You don't really have a choice. India's laws are very liberal but the society that makes it really worse for lot of people. Once you're part certain age whether you're a boy or a girl you're expected to be married. If you didn't then they will think of you as a failure and think there's something wrong with you. If you didn't have kids right away then these relatives, neighbours, colleagues, and "friends" will eat you alive. Personal will is not respected. You're always expected to fit into society's vision of you.

After I moved to Europe I live with a friend who's a woman in her 30s. She's not married and doesn't have children. When I told about my whereabouts to my Indian classmates they started being judgemental assholes and started suggesting what she should do.

Growing up I always thought my generation won't be like this but I was so wrong about that.
