I'm dating a white cis man. He's brilliant, empathetic and honestly, more progressive/culturally sensitive than I am.

I also believe that white cis men ultimately have more privilege for just existing than any other group, because western society was built by and for them. This makes me feel resentment.

But I have chosen to date a white cis man, my father is a white cis man, lots of my lovely friends are white cis men... I can't just go around belittling and being a huge bitch to every white cis man who I have CHOSEN to be apart of my life... That's just hypocritical. To be blunt, I understand the anger your girlfriend may feel towards white cis men in general... but she has to understand that if she's going to date you, she can't act out all the time at your expense.
