The problem though, is that some of the opinions on here are troll-level bullshit. The ones that aren't, I can still completely disagree with but I can respect someone else's point of view anyway if they at least are knowledgeable and can back up why they feel they way.

Many of the opinions on here are just insensitive hateful blather with the reasoning of a twelve year old who has anger issues and no understanding of the topic they're pissed about.

There is a huge difference between someone saying "I support the NFL players kneeling for the anthem, because it is backed by their constitutional right to free speech, it is peaceful and non-violent, and I agree with the platforms they are trying to make a statement about because I am a minority and see the issues every day." And yesterday's lovely "rape is not a big deal, nobody cares, nobody cared in medieval times (yes they did), Mother Nature doesn't care, and isn't it 'rapey' to force a woman to wear the label of a rape survivor and have to have a nurse do a rape kit on them?"

I disagree with both. But I can hear and respect one - the former has done their research, pulled from their own experiences, shows at least a basic understanding of the topic at hand, and takes a stance. Great. The latter is total bullshit, spewed from a guy who quite obviously has absolutely no idea what the hell he is even talking about, with the sole intent of shaming people for taking something serious seriously.
