I'd go with "sex can be equally good, just different". We all have that killer outfit that makes us look & feel amazing (but often is less comfortable) but nothing can beat a good pair of comfy PJs. Each has thier time, place and value.

Prior to opening up I would have used words such as dull, lifeless and maybe even boring. Wed try to spice things up and change it, but usually it felt fake and things just... were stale.

With others we have funky, explorative sex. we both thrive on NRE.

Now, the physical aspect of things have not changed much with us, perspective has. Id now use words such as comforting, nourishing, and comfy/safe, which leads to passionate to describe matters.
