People of Reddit, did you ever have a teacher mysteriously stop coming to school? What happened?

High school bio teacher wouldnt show up for class pretty regularly, missing even a week or so straight at one point. If she was there she would only talk about mollusks bout mollusks, or sit in the corner sobbing uncontrollably (looking back, we definitely should have done something, but we were 14 and just glad to have an extra 45 minutes every morning to catch up on homework).

Eventually the principal dropped by to check on her during one of her many absences, and the jig was up. Our new bio teacher tried to cram a whole year's worth of class into about 2 months, but still gave us the planned exam at the end. I got one of the better grades with a 74. After a 30 point curve...
