People of Reddit that have served jury duty, what was the case and outcome?

A guy was riding his bike home after work at 2AM. Cops stopped him because they said he was swerving and appeared drunk but later changed it to not having a light on his bike. The searched him and found a prescription bottle with his name on it, and pills inside. The pills were two different kinds. They took them in because they didn't know for sure what they were. Two of them ended up being what was on the bottle the other three were prescription painkillers he didn't have the bottle for. The guy had a history of medical issues from when he fell out of a tree at work and although he had a mountain of documentation he didn't actually have the paper or bottle from the clinic that gave him the pain pills. They wanted to put him in prison a minimum of one year per pill.

The other people in the jury wanted to convict him and be done but I refused to budge and put a man in prison for 3+ years over 3 friggin pain pills. He was in so much pain he could barely drive a bike straight. Anyway the judge kept sending us back until we 'figured it out' I tried to convince them but eventually they decided discussions were over and we were just going to sit there. On the second day we were 4 hours in and an officer sent us home. I don't know exactly what happened but later I looked him up and another jury put him in prison + parole.
