People that were technically dead, what did you see?

I never coded or anything, but I was in a coma for a couple weeks and well that’s a similar ballpark. I had a crazy tbi that should have killed me (per Wikipedia, most people with my injury never regain consciousness so I’m pretty damn lucky to have completely recovered)

But to answer the question, I saw nothing. It’s just a blank. No memories - and also pretty sketchy memories for the previous couple of weeks before the accident (and those that do exist are pretty scrambled and I don’t really entirely trust them). And furthermore, I have no memories whatsoever for the following couple of weeks after I apparently was a somewhat conscious. So a good 6 weeks of my life is basically wiped. No light either. Just nothing.

But as to what this question is obviously getting at, I don’t believe in god, and haven’t for a long time, but I also don’t think these experiences say anything about the existence or non existence of the afterlife. “Seeing the light” is a post hoc rationalization of experiencing your oxygen deprived brain freak out. And my brain was drugged up and had had the shit kicked out of it so def wasn’t forming any memories. These mean nothing either way.
