People who know a compulsive liar, what ridiculous, obviously fake, story have they told you?

A girl I go to college with. Oh my days. I actually can't distinguish truth from lie so I'll put what I think are lies in here.

She was in 2 of my classes (so I had 6 classes with her a week). The first time I met her, she walked into the lab with her arm in a bandage sleeve and crying. She told me she had anxiety and depression, despite being a very confident, friendly person. Yes I know not one type fits all with these disorders but follow my story. I did believe she had hyper mobility.

First she started lying about bands she'd seen, I knew she hadn't seen radiohead as they hadn't been round the year she claimed to see them. She'd also claim to have gone to and worked (despite being 16) at festivals. Oh well, no biggie.

She always wanted to impress I think. She was allegedly trialled at the Royal Academy of Ballet in Russia, was supposed to be in 'The Nutcracker', was also an actress and a model. It was believable at first, she did dance and you can do small time extra roles and little modelling jobs. She claimed to know 14 languages. This was the first red flag.

To cut a lot of crap, she got a boyfriend for 9 months or so, broke up with said boyfriend.

She got worse. She claimed her abused her, raped her, gave her scars, even got her pregnant. She said there was a photo of him at her brother's school so the teachers knew to keep him away from her family else he'd hurt them. She said he was possessive, controlling and all these other things. He was my friend and he was certainly not that person. With her small reputation, people doubted it and this was the biggest red flag to her lying.

She claimed to have an eating disorder. She's short and small framed anyway. She's never looked skinny- emaciated skinny. She's never looked shrunken from her frame. Never had bones jutting. She's just an average sized person in a 5'2 body. She claimed to have gone from 70lbs to 50lbs over Christmas break (2 weeks) then back to 70lbs magically for college. Right. I highly doubt she was ever 70lbs anyway, she was probably around 90lbs.

She told us these stories about how her life had gone to shit over the break. She'd been 'kicked out' as her relationship had caused a rift between her and her parents. Now she DID move out as our friend helped her move into a shared house that her (allegedly wealthy) dad was paying for. Whether she was kicked out or wanted to live alone and her parents let her, I'll never know. This happened after a 'suicide attempt' where she 'cut her wrists'. She had one 'cut' that was clearly done with SFX make up (did I mention she's a "make up artist" and works across the country? Her brows aren't even decent so I doubt it.)

This is where she amped up the health issues. She'd been having hypnotherapy for some mystery illness and came to college acting dazed and asking what everyone's names were. She claimed to have forgotten the last year of her life. She started saying to forget what she said about her ex, her medication made her act that way. She also received a text from her 'doctor' claiming that her scan results came back clear for a brain tumour. Your doctor would NOT text you. There's more, littler lies but these are the main points.

Bonus story, we were on about weird names in class and she told us how she knew someone called 'Chlamydia Rose'. Our tutor piped up "Bullshit. You made that up. That's MY story."
