In the eighth grade, I had an Easy A style reputation where a large amount of students thought I was both pregnant and on drugs due to someone overhearing and repeating a couple of sarcastic comments I had made. At first, it was utterly hilarious that people thought I was this person as I was this huge dork that liked to reenact scenes from her favourite books/movies when home alone and got her fashion tips from Hannah Montana. But when it began to influence the way I was treated, it quickly became not fun at all. When it became exceedingly obvious that these rumours were untrue, I was branded a liar accused of making them up myself to look cool. Not sure how they came to that conclusion, haha.
