I met a boy when I was 12 and we became close friends. When we were 13 we became "boyfriend and girlfriend". Very young I know, but I fell hard for him. We only stayed together a month or so; he broke up with me when he realised he just wasn't that into me, and would probably rather play video games or something, as you would when you're 13. We stayed friends until we were 14, but eventually he couldn't deal with the fact that I was not over him and he cut me out of his life, rather sensibly. Blocked me on every platform etc.

I pined over him until I was about 18. In hindsight I probably should have had therapy for it, as it was an obsession, but I kept it to myself really. We went to the same school so I saw him almost every day, and it really fucked up my ability to get over him. I dreamt about him almost every night and wrote poems about him, wrote letters to him that I would never send, the whole nine yards. I was the very definition of a crazy ex. I even sent him an email every year on his birthday
