Yeah, but it would stick out much more than in Honkai, where there isn't a world to walk by in the first place, nor a sense of immersion.
Besides, it's not as if the current narrative even comes close to that. The loop is the same:
Reach a new region -> get to know the people there -> get to know the problem -> Fix the problem -> Watch the Fatui stealing the stuff -> go to another region -> repeat.
I don't really see the narrative need for killing characters so far. Just as we didn't had losses in Mondstat and Lyue, I can't see that happening in the next region or something like that.
On the final battle? Sure. But we are years ahead of that.
