Positive Pre-order Successes & Stories MegaThread

Yesterday was interesting. I showed up to the store 45 mins early to one of the CT coastline Gamestops with my friend and we just hung out waiting for a while playing some Monster Hunter 4. My friend gave me a ride and decided to chill since it was my birthday and he didn't wanna ditch me to stay in the store by myself, but I wouldn't have been alone either way. There was about 7 other amiibros(andbras?) In line about 15 mins before 3o'clock. Of course, the gamestop we were at had experienced the same crash and lag and even being second in line while being rung up at the same time as the woman agreed of me, it took nearly an hour to ring up one of our orders. We all spent that time chatting and getting to know each other a little as well, we took down all of our nnids and exchanged them.

With the tension rising from the faulty system and no orders going though, we all managed to keep our spirits high and laugh though it. I was lucky enough to get the complete wave plus squidlings, while the woman got the ones her kids wanted. Cheers and applause erupted as or orders went though. But sadly, that was when the news of the fe amiibos rolled in. The group was disappointed, but we knew it wasn't the employees fault. They were real troopers that were honestly concerned and as saddened by the way it went down after 4 as the rest of us.

I feel incredibly lucky and yet can't shake that bad feeling that I was one of the few to be able to get my complete order, but got the two and a half hours I spent there, it was so refreshing seeing how excited and passionate everyone was about our amiibo collecting and being able to make this momentary connection that created the situation to make a few new friendships though the struggles.
