President Trump Really May Go to Jail—For the Rest of His Life

Seems like a very propagandist article. I get why he should be criticized as being a bad president, but I think this whole Russia thing is a little overblown, considering the history of past US Presidents and their foreign affairs. Just last week we saw a war mongering criminal who was responsible for over a million deaths in the middle east alone. His policies, even today, allow massive amounts of lives to be taken. The amount of pain and suffering other modern leaders have caused is off the charts in comparison to the things Trump is alleged to be guilty of. It seems likely he's got some side deals going on and it seems likely that he has some sexist/racist biases deep within his subconscious mind. This makes him a crook and a douchebag/asshole, on a very high level. His choices have led to some unnecessary civilian casualties in the middle east, and quite a small, but still serious number of people afflicted by ICE and DHS on the border and throughout the country.

I think at the end of the day, we have enough safeguards in place to prevent our democracy from being entirely undermined by outside parties. The fact of the matter is, we're lucky if 20% of politicians haven't been 'touched' by corruption. It's probably hard to say no when your entire family's lives are threatened. A lot of politicians are painted as the bad guys, sometimes we should look at the 'corrupters' and determine whether they would possibly use threats, extortion, racketeering, etc. to get what they want. We know in order to survive in the corporate world you must be aggressive and a bit psychotic. This translates through all phases of life. If someone is a cutthroat CEO or executive, where is the line drawn? To assume they have a line is a bit far-reaching.

This may just be the reality of societies. It's impossible to have something perfect. America is quite arguably the greatest thing to happen to humanity, yet we know the atrocities committed in order to achieve that. Was it moral/ethical? Does it take a psychopath to lead people?
