Live the old fashioned way: by groceries from your "mom & pop" farmer's market which sells food for less, eat fresh fruits & vegetables, avoid red meats & animal milk (humans not designed to drink it). Avoid processed foods like white stuff (white rice, white salt, white sugar, white flour) and fast food.
All these foods medical your body's PH level acidic (below 7.3) so you are more prone to getting sick and relying on the corrupt medical system which doctors love giving out prescriptions to synthetic produced drugs which further mess your body up either short term or long term.
Use cash in most cases and don't buy something if you don't have the money in your bank account as to avoid getting a loan and paying interest. Kijiji (in Canada) and Craigslist have a free section and you could get many things for free. Garbage day as well.
