Its pretty funny reading comments on this vid and seeing Trump supporters bitching about how he never said that and that he was "asking a scientist a question". Yes, he was asking a scientist a profoundly stupid question about injecting disinfectants as a solution to COVID. They get their underwear in a bunch over semantics about how he was just positing a theory to the scientist when the whole point is how ludicrously stupid of a thing it is to even suggest.

I think what's worse is the people who try to argue that he was joking though, which I believe stems from Trump saying he was being sarcastic. There is absolutely no reason to believe from that footage that he was being sarcastic, but more importantly one explanation contradicts the other. Was he being sarcastic, or was he positing a genuine question to a scientist?
