Psyonix plz - Add highlights after game

My point is simply that what dictates an amazing play is subjective and you can always learn something from other players, especially in your own division.

Which is completely veering off the point since it has nothing to do with my point or the topic as it is impossible to do that from post match highlights. I already said above that to improve you need to save the replay and watch them from different angles and player views.

You think you will be able to learn something by watching a randomly generated highlight video that will flash once on your screen after the match finishes? Heck the replay might be from the worst angle or not be shown at all. Read the post above.

The proper way already exists. It is to save the replay. Then you watch the replay from 10 different angles at 5 different speeds and try to replicate it. Then you see what they did right and you did wrong and to do that you need to watch the replay again.

I'm sorry but if you think that watching a randomly generated highlight post match will help you improve it is taking the easy way out that is never going to help you. You are better off watching some random pro player's twitch stream and you are even better off saving the replay and investigating it under a microscope.

Even if you go watch a youtube montage of a very good player do you think you will become a better player because of it and learn the things? Fuck no. Even if you think you'll learn a new type of wall shots it's useless if you can't take the raw highlight file, open it and deduct it in 5-6 ways. Now take into account that a montage is a manually generated video of highlights from the best angles not the game just picking a random time, angle and speed.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the people asking for post match highlights are not going to learn shit from it even if you think you will. That is simply taking the easy way out and thinking you will learn things with minimal effort.

If it is just an aesthetic feature then I can see your point but if you are making the point that it will improve you then you are sadly mistaken.
