[Purchasing help] Looking for a good do-it-all 1440p ultra wide up to around 1000 EUR

Hey, r/monitors! I'm currently using an old 20" TN panel and I'm planning to buy a new monitor within this month. Main uses for it will be (in no particular order except for the first one): Photo editing for web and printing ‎Programming ‎Gaming Watching series and movies I'm generally looking at 34" ultra wide IPS right now (before that I was after several 32" 16:9 models, but they are all VA). A "pro" model is out of consideration for now, because in this price range I'd only get a 24 or 27" that won't be that good for general usage, moreover it would benefit more from a 10 bit GPU which I'm also not considering. I'm still not sure how much I need a big Adobe RGB coverage (the models I'm looking at have around 75-80% Adobe RGB and ~100% sRGB). Good factory calibration would be nice to have, although I might think about getting a colorimeter some time down the road. Curve: I'm not yet sure about it. Maybe a 3600R wouldn't be very intrusive. I think I'm split between non-curved and 3600R, but I think I'll decide on that when I see several monitors "in person" at the store. GPU and G-Sync/Freesync: I'm currently running an old AMD GPU that I think maxes out at 2560x1600@60 Hz (no DisplayPort) and I'm getting a GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti together with the monitor (going with NVIDIA this time because I've had driver problems with AMD before, plus the Vega 64 I would normally be after is currently hard to get), so G-Sync is the way to go. Rest of the system is fairly adequate (X99 board and a 5820K), so no worries there. I've read that you can trick Freesync to work by adding a cheap AMD as a second GPU, but even if this doesn't work, a Freesync display is also a possibility (Freesync doesn't add to the price as G-Sync does). Main "suspects" as of now: Asus PG348Q - A little out of my price range (retails for about 1100-1200 EUR where I live), but seems like a very good all-rounder despite it being marketed as a gaming display. Pros: 100 Hz with G-Sync. Cons: problems with backlight uniformity, steep price. If you manage to convince me it's worth it, I might go for it. LG 34UM88-P (and the several other similar models) - Pros: Significantly less expensive (the non-curved model is about 700 EUR), about the same picture quality. Cons (compared to the Asus): Freesync only, top at 60 or 75 Hz depending on the model. Feel free to ask about anything I might have missed. Sorry if the post is a little too long.

Also the Acer Predator Z35P. 3440x1440, 21:9, GSYNC, 100hz overclockable to 120Hz
